Description
with three-stage 14 ½ inch barrel turned and belled at the muzzle, octagonal breech stamped ‘TY7230’, London proof marks, signed flat foliate border engraved lock with roller on the frizzen spring, 'KETLAND & CO.' forwards of the hammer, walnut full stock carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, brass mounts comprising pierced side-plate, stamped ‘TY7230’, vacant escutcheon cast with a shell above and bracket below, trigger-guard with acorn finial and engraved with a flower-head on the bow, replacement wooden ramrod
