This service presents well. It does have some signs of wear and use. There are a few small surface scrapes and some small pots of wear or tarnish to the gilding throughout. Side plates: a Baynell plate has crazing to the glaze front and back; a Mosely plate has slightly more surface scrapes than the others and a fine 10cm hairline to the back which may be only glaze deep. Sugar: OK; a few marks and small tarnished spots to the gilding at the reverse of the bowl. Jug: OK; handle slightly tarnnished. Cups: one of the Hale cups has some slightly rough surface inclusions to the interior near the grapes, there is also a slight residue in this cup; one Mosley cup has crazing to the bottom. Saucers: one Baynall saucer has light crazing and a couple of fine hairlines visible to the reverse; one of the Mosley saucers has a couple of fine hairlines visible to the reverse.
