the 12 inch brass dial with a signed Roman numeral silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, and twin winding holes, with pierced crown and cherub spandrels, in a caddy hood top with fretwork borders, giltwood finials and flanked by ebonised columns with giltwood capitals, above a trunk door with a lenticle and flower and bird marquetry panel, the twin-train brass movement with anchor escapement and bell strike
