Note: Benjamin Taylor & Sons, cabinet makers, chair makers, upholsterers and undertakers, were active in Southwark from 1805 until 1873. They traded from premises in Kent Street until 1821, when they moved to various premises in great Dover Street. The Dover Street pieces are impressed DOVER STREET BORO, Boro being the old name for Southwark. The company were also recorded at King William Street in 1837 and at 167 Great Dover Street until 1873.
