on linen, the first worked by Elizabeth Campbell, dated 1801, with the central poem 'DEEP ON MY SOUL BEFORE ITS POWRS/ ARE YET BY VICE ENSLAVD/ BE MY CREATORS GLORIOUS NAME/ AND CHARACTER ENGRAVD' in a field with a row of family initials, flower pots, baskets, peacocks, and a turreted building below, in a strawberry vine border, framed; the second worked by Margaret Moncwr[?], dated 1785, with three partial alphabet series, family names Peter Moncwr[?], Janet Crichton, Ketren Moncwr[?], and family initials, with animals, flower pots, crowns, angels, a castle, and Adam and Eve, within a flower and leaf border, framed
