Description
Charles Fowler, marked CF, ELn, Cathedral, of traditional form with hemispherical bowl with twin shaped lugs with slight up turned ends, each with wriggle work border and one with foliate script initials CS, the whole raised on a slightly flared deep collar foot

Notes: this previously unrecorded quaich forms an interesting part of the Elgin survival and is currently the only fully marked Elgin quaich recorded, with one other known attributed to John Humphrey.
