Footnote
Theodore Horovitz (1917-1996) began his jewellery career at the age of seventeen, by working for his father's jewellery shop in Alexandria. Horovitz eventually set up his own atelier within his father's shop and started to create pieces for the city's nobility and royalty, including a wedding crown for the Queen. In 1956, Horovitz moved to Geneva, where he established his own business in 1960.
