possibly Samuel Taylor, London 1747, of ogee form, the lid with a cast finial, chased and engraved with flowers and foliage, the crest with three rose motifs impaling two birds over a third bird, matched by a crest with a Turkish figure and a motto 'Quid Verum atque decens'
