the circular tilt top painted in oil with a scene in Oxford, on a reeded ebonised and gilt pedestal and later circular base with bun feet
47cm diameter, 70cm high
Footnote
Inscribed to the underside and the top "Presented to Mr and Mrs Bruce by Mrs edward Stnden as a memorial of her lamented husband whose last hours were soothed by thier kind solitude, Oxford August 25th 1845"
The top has a swivelling mechanism stamped J&B patent.
