the breakfront top with a pierced brass gallery over a central architectural arch panelled door with gilt metal figural mounts and enclosing five crossbanded drawers, flanked by spiral columns; with banks of four drawers to either side, raised on gilt metal ball and claw feet, on a later ebonised stand with bobbin-turned legs united by metal rails
