Description
the rectangular top with a wine-red leather insert and moulded edge with carved foliate details, above a frieze carved with tracery and fitted with long drawers to both ends, raised on twin pedestals with carved foliate diaper panels, with doors opening to reveal interior drawers, the end panels centred by carved armorial roundels depicting a stork and chicks, on plinth bases
