the moulded cornice above a pair of moulded panel doors with false drawer fronts, opening to hanging space, the sides mounted with associated large brass handles engraved with a coat of arms and motto 'VIRTUTE NON VERBIS', raised on bracket feet

Note: The arms are those of Robinson impaling Howard for Sir Thomas Robinson 1st Bt. of Rokeby Hall (c.1702-1777) and his wife Lady Elizabeth Howard (1701-1739), daughter of Charles Howard, 3rd Earl of Carlisle (1669-1738). The motto is also that of the Earl of Kerry and the Marquess of Lansdowne.
