the domed hood with a moulded cornice above an arched silvered dial engraved in the boss with an eagle and motto Tempus Fugit, above a Roman numeral dial marked at the quarter hours, signed 'J. Jew./ Gloucester' with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, flanked by reeded column with gilt brass Corinthian capitals, above a long trunk with a moulded arch door with leaf carved corners flaNked by stop-fluted quarter columns, on a plinth base with bead moulded panel, raised on a gadrooned moulded base and ogee bracket feet; the eight day movement striking a bell, the door stamped 'T. STRATFORD'
