the cushion moulded top with a brass carrying handle and acorn corner finials above a moulded cornice and a 6.5 inch square dial with Roman number chapter ring, date aperture, Strike/Silent lever, and pierced brass spandrels; the eight-day two-train fusee movement with a verge escapement and bob pendulum, striking a bell with hour repeat; the part glazed sides with pierced gilt metal frets, the foliate engraved backplate signed in a reserve 'Tho: Warden/ LONDON', raised on brass ball feet
