the circular top with a central panel enclosed by thirteen smaller panels, decorated with scenes of ladies and gentlemen in 18th century dress engaged in various pursuits in landscapes, in a gilt metal and gilt wood frame, above a frieze of similarly decorated porcelain panels, raised on four baluster and tapered legs with applied flowers ending in scroll feet and joined by a shaped X stretcher surmounted by a putto
