A24453, with a Mauser action, calibre 7.mm/ 2.24 inch, with a scroll engraved breech and magazine cover, with London gunmaker's view and proof marks nitro proof, folding leaf sights for 200-300 yds, flag safety catch, the top of the barrel engraved J. PURDY & SONS/ AUDLEY HOUSE/ SOUTH AUDLEY STREET/ LONDON, with a figured walnut three-quarter pistol grip stock, chequered fore end and grip and a raised cheek piece, engraved oval butt cap, rifle sling holders, white metal escutcheon with rubbed initials, and a Habicht 4 Swarovski-optic telescopic sight with quick release lever catches, in original Purdey canvas covered box with Purdey trade label
