Description
the hood with a swan neck pediment centred by a foliate carved finial above a fretwork frieze, and arched door, the brass dial with a silvered chapter with brass Arabic numbers and pierced spandrels, subsidiary seconds, Strike/Silent, and chimes selection dials; playing Westminster Chimes on four tubes or Whittington Chimes on eight tubes, flanked by fluted Corinthian columns; above a foliate carved trunk with arched glazed door flanked by further carved and fluted Corinthian columns, on a plinth base with a moulded panel carved with laurel swags and trailing bellflowers on short bracket feet; with an eight day triple fusee chiming movement
