Provenance:
Sir John & Lady Amie Noble's house in Portland Place, London.
The Nobles probably bought the house in the 1920's and it is unknown whether the carpet was already there or whether they added it to the contents.
It was later removed to Ardkinglas after the Second World War, where it has been in the Drawing Room until now.
