the bell top with a brass carrying handle above an arched brass dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter and pierced spandrels, two winding holes, inscribed maker's nameplate and a date aperture, the eight day twin chain fusee movement striking a bell, in an ebonised case with pierced fretwork corner panels and glazed sides, raised on brass ogee bracket feet
