ink and colour on silk, depicting Xin Xin, Pan Furen, Qing Feng, Pi Pa, Ye Xiaoluan, E Lühua, Xue Yaoying, Fei Luan, Nong Yu, Yuan Bao'er, Feng Xiaolian, Wu Zhao (Wu Zetian), each leaf inscribed with the name of the beauty and with one collector's seal reading 'Xi Zhi Tang' (Hall of Four Knowledge), the first leaf signed 'Jin Chang Tang Yin', dated 'the fifth day of the eighth month, wuwu year of Hongzhi Period' (1498), with two artist's seals reading 'Tang Ziwei Tu Shu', 'Wu Qu'
