Description
the ovoid vase painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with two panels containing painterly designs of two pheasants below flowering cherry trees and passerines perched on trailing wisteria branches, the panels framed by a keyfret border entwined with scrolling vines, the base signed Sozan in red enamel and with an impressed 'Kinkozan zo' mark within a gilt square
