comprising eleven photographs of Shanghai and forty photographs of Japan, the photographs of Shanghai include ten shots of street scenes, including the Bubbling Well Road (now West Nanjing road), the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Public Gardens, the Bund, the Maloo, the Country Club and the Shanghai Club, the eleventh photograph is a shot of the Scottish family together with their Chinese housekeepers in front of their Shanghai residence, the Japanese photographs include shots of famous scenic spots including Hakone Lake and the Inland Sea at Matsushima; together with EPHERMERA, including a programme of The Prisoner of Zenda presented at the Lyceum Theatre Shanghai on 20th January 1906 (qty)
