woven with small roundels, flowers and butterflies, the front and back panels each embroidered in Peking knots with a large flower vase filled with peonies, surrounded by a ruyi sceptre and bats in couched gold thread, together with a toad, a Buddhist lion, a lotus plant and a bowl of offerings on a stool, trimmed with black silk and a black and blue silk ribbon woven with flowers and butterflies, a wide cotton band to the upper edge with fastening loops, unlined
