the elephant shown standing foursquare with head turned sidewards, the trunk, ears and tusks naturalistically depicted, caparisoned with a long saddle rug decorated in low relief with rocks below swirling clouds, the smoothly finished stone of a greyish-green tone with black streaks and russet mottling
