the clay of a rich reddish tone, each enamelled with a Buddhist lion chasing a ribbon-tied brocade ball, one of cylindrical form and with seal of You Lan to the underside of the cover, the other with lobed sides and bearing Yi Xing Zi Sha (yixing stoneware) mark to the bottom
