Description
decorated with scenes from a palace with dignitaries and ladies in attendance, the other side with figures on horseback departing, all on a floral ground with birds and butterflies, the neck with further reserves with figures and crane handles, scalloped rim and foot with stylised lappets, the rim decorated with lotus and peonies; together with ornately carved hardwood stands, the feet crowned with masks, suspending peaches from tassels, pierced frieze with double gourd and leaves, the tops with inlaid soapstone circular panels and bead border (4)
