Description
清 乾隆款 剔紅暗八仙紋鼻烟壺
of bulbous form, the body carved in two cartouches with the 'Eight Daoist Emblems' against a square diaper ground, surrounded by bats and tassels, the domed stopper carved with layers of flower petals resembling a blossoming chrysanthemum, the base lacquered in black and incised with a two-character Qianlong mark in seal script
