詩文：玉硯瑩然出尚方，九重親賜米元章。不因啖吐珠璣力，安得瑤池到玉堂。
of broad cylindrical form with straight sides, painted around the exterior with a continuous scene taken after an episode of the Dongpo shihua, depicting the Song dynasty poet Su Dongpo seated at a rock desk with an inkstone in front, next to an open scroll with a wood brush pot containing further scrolls and a pile of books on the table, serviced by two attendants carrying a wine ewer and a cup, the poet and calligrapher Mi Fu standing aside, dressed in a long greyish-blue robe near a young attendant fanning a cooking kettle, all set in a garden scene with tall gnarled pines and plum blossoms, the reverse inscribed with a five-column poem by Su Dongpo, the base inscribed with six-character Qianlong mark on a turquoise ground
