the central medallion delicately painted with a pair of Mandarin ducks swimming amongst lotus, enclosed with a band of eight Daoist immortals on the cavetto, each on their unique vahana sailing on ferocious swirling waves, the underside of the cavetto further decorated with four peony sprays in iron-red
