正德款或年代 礬紅彩伊斯蘭紋蓋盒
of rectangular form with a separate lid and splayed base, the surfaces decorated with calligraphic roundels of sini script on foliate ground surrounded by leafy vine, the raised base inscribed with a six-character Zhengde mark within double-rectangle

Note: a comparable blue and white rectangular pen box was excavated from Zhushan in 1988 and was exhibited in the Hunan Provincial Museum 'Decoding the Royal Kilns: Imperial Porcelains of the Ming Dynasty' during 15 Nov 2014 and 8 March 2015, and currently in the collection of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Archaeological Research Institute
