清 十一面千手千眼觀音唐卡
depicted with a tower of heads, the uppermost head representing Buddha Amitabha, the Bodhisattva's spiritual father, above the blue demonic head of Vajrapani functioning to ward off evilness, the two principal hands held before the chest protecting the ratna jewel of this enlightened state, flanked by thousands of arms radiating from the torso in a fan-like manner, the figure supported on a lotus plinth in front of a palatial building, and surrounded by further Buddhist deities and disciples
