Description
江寒汀畫 白頭翁花梨扇
ink and colour on paper, painted with a light-vented bulbul bird standing on a bamboo above rocks, the inscription reading 'May in Summer, the year of Xin Chou' (1961), the huanghuali guards carved in low relief with a bird on the top of a tree branch on the front incised with a three-character 'Xia Ri Ke' (carved in summer time) mark and a spider hanging down from a web on the back guard incised with 'Han Ting Hua' (painted by Hanting) mark
