Description
清 青白玉雕蓮池角杯
carved in imitation of a libation cup as a lotus leaf with undulating edges, with a craggy rock which forms the base, from which rise entwined stems of budding lotus blossoms carved and pierced in high relief, together with two mandarin ducks holding a sprig of lotus in their beaks, egrets perched on branches catching fish and a crab, the stone of pale celadon colour with some russet inclusions
