the case of rectangular form with hinged lid opening to reveal interior fitted with ceramic mixing trays, original watercolour tablets and leather lined compartments for paint brushes and artist's paraphanelia, the lower drawer containing a ceramic mixing tray, bears maker's label in tooled leather, "Winsor and Newton, by appointment to Her Majesty and to His Royal Highness Prince Albert, 38 Rathbone Place, London", 30cm across; also a Victorian walnut toilet case, with interior fitted with glass bottles and boxes with electroplated mounts and with jewellery drawer below
