the twin train movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, the false plate inscribed WALKER & FINEMORE, BIRMINGHAM, the arched dial painted in the neo-Classical manner with a military encampment scene and to the arch with a lady holding a brazier by a camel, with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the case elaborately decorated with satinwood panels and crossbanding and with ebony and boxwood stringing, the hood with swan neck pediment above turned columns, the shaped trunk door flanked by quarter column, the base with bracket feet
