the silvered dial with Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial and blue steel moon hands, above two subsidiary days of the week and date dials, with an engine turned mask flanked by pairs of fluted doric columns to the corners, the inside back inscribed by the retailer 'E&W Smith, Maddox Street, London'; with a chain fusee platform lever escapement
