Note:
Shere Singh was the son of Chattar Singh. He was the governor of Peshawar and later a member of the Council of Regency at the Lahore Durbar. He was a general in the army of Maharajah Duleep Singh and fought in the Second Anglo Sikh War and surrendered his forces at the Battle of Goojerat in 1849.
