the circular dish top opening to reveal a lined void interior, above a rosette applied frieze and raised on a reeded turned column support ending in a carved triform base with scroll feet

Note: the top bears a brass inset plaque "The Oak of which this table is made was under the foundations of Old London Bridge, upwards of six hundred & fifty six years and taken up from thence in 1833 by, Sir Edward Banks and William John Jolliffe Esq, the contractors & builders of, New London Bridge"
