"A part of the great Abraham series at Hampton Court, of which sets also exist at Madrid, Vienna etc. The subject it belongs to is No. 8, Eliazar's oath to Abraham and departure in quest of Rebecca. The kneeling figure is Eliazar. The sets were all woven at Brusseles [sic] in the 16th century. There are several similar fragments in the Jerusalem Chamber at Westminster Abbey"
