Description
the eight day movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, formed as a truncated obelisk in red and black marble, surmounted by a bronze figure of a pharoah seated on a stool decorated with hieroglyphs, the Roman chapter ring with gilt numerals and rusticated centre ring flanked by bronze ox masks to each side and bronze eagle to the apron, on chevron cast tapering feet
