the cavetto moulded hinged lid with a domestic scene probably involving payment of rent, the front back and sides depicting fox hunting scenes, the interior with a removable divided tray and four boxes, each lid with scenes of everyday life, raised on embossed brass feet, bears paper label, 'Smith and Co. Carvers and Gilder's, 78 Union Street, Aberdeen'
