of inverted breakfront form, the ledge back flanked by two stage back drawers with spindle galleries above three recessed frieze drawers and three graduated drawers flanked by a pair of panelled doors with ceramic handles, on plinth base

The vignettes depicted on this sideboard are copied from the book cited below and painted in a distinctive 'sanguine' oil technique, their quality suggesting that they might possibly be by, or from the studio of, H. Leutmann, the artist who created the original steel engravings for this story.
