Note: Built at Pembroke Dockyard and laid down in 1860 as HMS Triumph. Her name being changed to HMS Prince Consort after the death of Prince Albert in February 1862. Ordered to Liverpool to watch the Confederate rams being built at Lairds and nearly lost during the journey. Active service in the Channel Squadron in 1864-1867, thereafter the Mediterranean Squadron in 1867 -1871. Laid up and re-armed for a second time in Plymouth, she was finally sold, in poor condition, in March 1882.
