the top of the shallow breakfront outline with pierced gilt metal three quarter gallery above a pair of inlaid tambour doors flanked by a pair of cupboard doors above short drawers divided by four inlaid uprights with leaf-cast gilt metal mounts, the wide skiver drawing forward to reveal a pen tray and inkwell recess, the kneehole banded by an arrangement of five drawers, on inlaid and reeded tapering legs headed by simulated flutes and ending in brass source castors, the sides similarly inlaid
