the twin train movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell, signed Scholefield, Dewsbury, the swan neck pediment above an arched rectangular hood between ring turned baluster uprights, the enamel dial painted with an emblem of bountiful Nature to the arch above roman chapters and subsidiary seconds and calendar dials between floral spandrels, the scallop crested trunk door between chamfered angles, on shaped apron and splayed bracket feet
