Description
the caddy top with flame finials above larger foliate finials and a balustraded frieze, the arched and glazed door enclosing a raised enamel Roman chapter ring with rococo engraved centre, single wind hole and strapwork apron inscribed with maker's signature, between corinthian columns, on a shaped apron and gadrooned toupie feet, the anchor escapement striking on a bell, the backplate boldly engraved 'Rabby Paris', the whole decorated with silvered and gilt cut and engraved brass arabesques on scarlet tortoiseshell
