Description
the doors decorated with courtly figures within a fenced garden and a pair of ducks, applied with pierced and engraved hinges and central escutcheon, the sides similarly decorated in raised ground lacquer, with birds amidst foliage, the interior door panels decorated with a flowering tree and a pair of cockerels above fishermen at a riverside flanking an arrangement of eleven short drawers, with ring handles, depicting stylised landscapes with pavillions, exotic birds and warriors, the 'crenellated' apron printed with ideographs on barley-twist turned legs united by a long stretcher carved with stylised birds, on bun feet
