in the form of a man and a woman, each with ivory head, hands and feet, the wood inset with mother of pearl motifs, on shaped rectangular plinths with gilt inlay; he with a parcel on his back and double gourd vessel in one hand, she dressed in a kimono with sword protruding from her waistband, both with inscribed character mark on mother of pearl panel (2)
