late 19th century, the twin train movement with circular white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, enclosed within shaped hood, with cast and gilt metal figure of a seated Father Time, above parquetry inlaid shaped trunk with canted angles and central glazed aperture, the base with ogee outline, the whole with applied gilt brass mounts cast with foliate and figural motifs and raised on massive cast paw feet on a plinth
