Footnote
Note: A similar table by Henry Eyles was exhibited at The Great Exhibition of 1851and is now at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. It may be that the edge carving was carried out by his relation George Eyles, woodcarver of Claverton Street in Bath. The elaborate carving and decoration to the table may indicate thet it also was specifically produced as an exhibition piece.
